Kent British Trust for Conservation Volunteers are now based in the brand new Singleton Environment Centre in Ashford which opened to the public in May 2008.
Our group is part of a network working alongside Friends of the Earth UK to protect and promote sustainable and fair use of our planet for the benefit of all of its inhabitants. This group was established in 1997 to actively campaign in the Dover and Thanet Districts but we welcome members from adjoining areas. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month in the evening at 7:30pm at the Landmark Centre in the High Street in Deal.

Kent Wildlife Trust, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has just passed another significant milestone in its development by recruiting its 30,000th member. Kent Wildlife Trust (KWT) was founded in 1958 and is one of the largest of 47 Wildlife Trusts across the UK. We are supported by over 21,000 members and have the simple aim of making Kent and Medway a better place for our native wildlife.
